Townhouse
Project in Fairlington
This townhouse kitchen was so
small and cramped that only one person could be in it at a time. The
homeowner wanted the kitchen to be integrated with the rest of the
living space in function and aesthetic, as well as adding a touch of
whimsy and exotic intrigue. |

Great Room
Addition in McLean
This large great room
addition serves as a gracious, comfortable and informal gathering
place that connects to the dining room and the kitchen, making
entertaining for large groups easy. The homeowners wanted a red
room, but had tried that previously by making everything in a room
red, and were not happy with it. |

Kitchen, Living
Room, and Dining Room Project in Great Falls
The
original 40-year old
house had a large underused living room, a dining room that was too
small, a very dark family room, and a kitchen that was closed off
from the living spaces. So they took down the wall between the
Kitchen and the Dining Room, and the Dining Room and the Family
Room. The Living Room would live like a Family Room, with overflow
to the Sunroom just beyond. |

Living Room and Dining
Room Project in McLean
After 3 years of living in
Paris, the homeowners brought back dining furniture and antique
French casegoods, needing all other furnishings for the formal
Living Room and Dining Room in their home. The clients wished it to
be styled in a Parisian mode, but comfortable. Much more light was
admitted, giving a focal point to each room, and creating a French
niche for furniture that allowed a more gracious traffic flow.
